The S&W M&P15-22 Gas Block, while non-functioning, is a must-have if you want to install a standard 2-piece handguard on your Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 rifle.
This gas block also features a single Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913) at the shorter “Gas Block” height. NOT “Rail Height”
One advantage of gas block sights is that they move with the barrel as it flexes from heat, pressure, whatever…your rifle will be MORE consistently accurate with gas block sight than forearm sight.
Product Description
The Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Gas Block keeps the handguard cap in place when installing a 2-piece handguard, and prevents the handguard from moving. The single Picatinny rail mount enables you to mount various Picatinny rail accessories.
The included screw goes into what would be the gas tube hole in the block, which prevents the gas block from spinning.

- Non-functioning “gas block” with a single Picatinny rail, made only to keep the 2-piece handguard in place on your 15-22.
- A single screw that takes the place of the AR gas tube to keep the hand guard end cap from turning.
